PROMOTION & RELEGATION
Note: in all cases, Relegation is effected as a result of Promotion,
and takes into account the need to maintain appropriate League sizes.

A major re-organisation of the RFU League format is planned for Season 2009 -10
and it is probable that Promotion and Relegation regulations at all levels will be affected.
Details will be published here, and circulated to clubs as soon as they are known.

NB: Teams may be laterally reorganised at League Levels Two & Three in subsequent seasons to accommodate  promotions and relegations.
